IHC records positive performance achievements in 2023

Jakarta, June 1, 2024 − The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) of PT Pertamina Bina Medika Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (IHC), a state-owned hospital holding, held in Jakarta on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. revealed that the company recorded positive performance achievement last year.

In the 2023 fiscal year, IHC booked a revenue of Rp 5.72 trillion (about US$352 million), an increase of 14.90 percent compared to the 2022 figure of Rp 4.98 trillion. IHC also managed to obtain a net profit of Rp 300 billion, an increase of 63 percent compared to 2022.

The company also managed to maintain its performance in 2023 with a rating of AA (Double A), or stable outlook, based on the company’s rating by PT Pemeringkatan Efek Indonesia (PEFINDO).

At the AGM, shareholders approved the annual report including the ratification of the financial statements and agreed to distribute a dividend of 10 percent for the financial year 2023 to shareholders.

IHC’s positive performance in 2023 was also supported by improved operational performance where the number of inpatient visits at IHC hospitals increased by 117 percent, while outpatient visits increased by 111 percent compared to 2022.

President Director of IHC, Mira Dyah Wahyuni, said that the positive performance in 2023 reflected IHC’s success in implementing various innovative and effective transformation strategies.

“We are developing centers of excellence equipped with the latest medical technology and the best experts in their fields. Our Center of Excellence (CoE) focuses not only on specific treatment and care, but also on research and development to continuously improve healthcare standards,” Mira said in a statement on June 1, 2024

IHC President Commissioner, Farid Harianto, said the Board of Commissioners believes that there is still considerable business potential for IHC to grow sustainably by utilizing the momentum from the 2023 performance achievement. PT Pertamina Vice President for Portfolio & Performance Management, Asep Samsul Arifin, as one of the shareholder representatives is optimistic that IHC can achieve better performance growth in 2024.
