President Prabowo inaugurates ministerial-level officials at State Palace

President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated a number of ministerial-level officials for the 2024-2039 term in a ceremony held at the State Palace in Jakarta, on Monday, 21 October 2024.

The ministerial-level officials inaugurated by President Prabowo included the Attorney General, Head of the National Intelligence Agency, Head and Deputy Head of the Presidential Staff, Head of the Presidential Communications Office, and Chairman of the National Economic Council.

President Prabowo inaugurated Sanitiar Burhanuddin as Attorney General, the post he also served in the administration of the preceding President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo. Meanwhile, Lieutenant General (ret) Muhammad Herindra was inaugurated as Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).

The president also inaugurated Lieutenant General (ret) A.M. Putranto as Presidential Chief of Staff and political surveyor Muhammad Qodari as Deputy Presidential Chief of Staff.

On the same occasion, President Prabowo also inaugurated another political surveyor, Hasan Nasbi, as Head of the Presidential Communications Office. Lastly, the president inaugurated General (ret) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan as Chairman of the National Economic Council. Luhut was previously Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment in the Jokowi administration.
