Minister of State Secretary, Pratikno, has announced the President’s approval on requests for resignation filed by Head of the Nusantara Capital (IKN) Authority, Bambang Susantono, and Deputy Head of the IKN Authority, Dhony Rahajoe.

Pratikno said President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo had received letters of resignation from both Bambang Susantono and Dhony Rahajoe. However, there is no information available on the reasons why the two top Authority executives had tendered their resignation.

Subsequently, the President has appointed the Minister of Public Works and Housing (PUPR), Basuki Hadimuljono, and the Deputy Head of the National Land Agency, Raja Juli Antoni, as the Acting Head and Acting Deputy Head of the IKN Authority.

Pratikno said that the appointment of the PUPR Minister and the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs/Head of the National Land Agency by President Jokowi aims to ensure the acceleration of IKN development is managed as effectively as possible.
