A subsidiary of PT Hutama Karya (HK), PT Hakaaston (HKA), targets revenue growth of 30 percent to reach Rp680 billion (US$46 million) throughout 2024.
HKA’s Director of Operations, Martin Nababan, said the revenue target is in line with the company’s plan to operate five new sections of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS).
“The sections include Sigli – Padang Tiji – Seulimeum, to be expanded from 35.7 KM to 74.1 KM, Binjai – Brandan from 20 KM to 58 KM, Kuala Tanjung – Indrapura – Tebing Tinggi – Dolok – Sinaksak from 28.3 KM to 83.8 KM,” Martin said as quoted on March 5, 2024.
He added that the other two new sections that will soon be operational this year are the Indrapura – Kisaran Toll Road (sections 1 & 2) from 15.7 KM to 47.7 KM, and Pekanbaru – Bangkinang – Koto Kampar from 31 KM to 55.7 KM.
Martin is optimistic that these five sections of JTTS can be operational this year, while citing that the construction of the national strategic project (PSN) infrastructure of JTTS has reached 88.7 percent.
“Aligned with the targets set by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing on the completion of five JTTS sections in 2024,” he said.
Meanwhile, in an attempt to provide maximum service and improve user comfort on toll roads, HKA has designed four main applications, namely Astoll, which is a platform to provide real-time information about toll road conditions, live CCTV, rest area locations, toll rates, and emergency response features. Then, HKA Trom (Toll Road Operation and Maintenance) which supports toll attendants in providing services on toll roads, and finally HKA Today and LAMPS or Live Asphalt Monitoring System which are important platforms for toll road maintenance and monitoring of hotmix logistics in all production units.
Currently, HKA operates 13 sections on the Trans Sumatra Route and 2 sections on Java Island, which are owned by toll road business entities (BUJT) PT Hutama Karya, Indonesia Investor Authority (INA), and PT Hutama Marga Waskita (HAMAWAS).
