Newly appointed Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, vows to achieve the investment target set by his predecessor Bahlil Lahadalia.

“Thanks to pak Bahlil for laying the good foundation, this helping us to realize what we want to achieve, and we must continue these values. I always believe in teamwork to move forward together. The targets that have been set must be achieved. So far, pak Bahlil has exemplified that target, making them achievable,” Rosan said after the transfer of power ceremony of the post of Minister of Investment/BKPM Head in Jakarta on Monday August 19, 2024.

With the new mandate entrusted to him, Rosan expressed hopes that all elements in the ministry will be able to work well together to achieve the targets.

Meanwhile, Bahlil expressed confidence that the Ministry of Investment/BKPM can deliver a more optimum performance in terms of achieving the investment realization in Indonesia, under the leadership of Rosan Roeslani.

“The investment target in the third quarter is to reach 76 percent, now it is more than 50 percent. So, pak Rosan will announce the investment realization of the third quarter in October. Pak Rosan is my senior and my teacher. I have confidence that he is better than me. I only ask one thing, please help our brother Rosan,” Bahlil said.

Born on December 31, 1968, Rosan served as Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) since July 2023. Previously, he served as the 21st Indonesian Ambassador to the United States from 2021-2023. Rosan has held various prominent positions in finance and investment in Indonesia, including as Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) in 2015-2021.
