Local pharmaceutical company PT Sunthi Sepuri is enhancing its production capacity to contribute to Indonesia’s economic recovery, aiming for Rp1 trillion (US$63.5 million) in sales by 2030.

The company has begun building new production facilities at its existing plant in Cikupa, Tangerang, Banten.

PT Sunthi Sepuri Director, Amanda Thabita Sallynama, cited that the expansion aligns with the company’s long-term strategy, leveraging technology to boost production capacity and diversify its product offerings.

“Technology is a catalyst for new opportunities, from creating innovative products to increasing productivity and market competitiveness,” Amanda said, on Monday, November 11, 2024.

With this new facility, PT Sunthi Sepuri expects to triple its production capacity. The expanded portfolio will include psychiatric medications, slimming products, and beauty items, reflecting the company’s ambition to broaden its market reach.

Amanda highlighted that the new facility not only supports the company’s growth but also contributes to national economic recovery through locally produced pharmaceuticals.
