Legrand Indonesia, a leading provider of electrical and digital building infrastructures, joined forces with the Indonesia Data Center Provider Organization (IDPRO) to host the second edition of the Legrand Day 2024 – Data Center Summit, building on the success of its inaugural event.

The collaborative summit, themed ‘We Seize the Future,’ saw participation from global and Indonesian industry leaders, including Legrand’s Global CEO Benoît Coquart, to explore pivotal aspects of data center infrastructure, technology, and sustainability.
Discussions centered on the trajectory and future of the data center industry, the imperative for AI-ready infrastructure, and strategies to enhance sustainability and efficiency. Benoît Coquart emphasized Legrand’s dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions that prioritize energy efficiency and performance, ensuring future-readiness while championing sustainability.
“Our focus is on enhancing energy efficiency and performance, gradually introducing products and solutions that are future ready,” said Coquart.
The summit also spotlighted Legrand’s turnkey AI data center solution, tailored for seamless scalability and immediate deployment, addressing the burgeoning demand for artificial intelligence.
Notably, discussions led by Hendra Suryakusuma, Chairman of IDPRO, delved into key challenges and opportunities, featuring panels on emerging technologies and sustainability aligned with Indonesia’s net-zero emissions goal by 2060.
Dyah Roro Esti, a member of DPR Commission VII, underscored the importance of cleaner energy sources for sustainable data center operations, signaling legislative efforts to promote renewable energy adoption.
Industry players such as BDx Indonesia, EDGE DC, and PDG Data Center reaffirmed their commitment to sustainable practices, aligning with the summit’s ethos. The event culminated with the certification handover of Legrand’s low-voltage panels, symbolizing a testament to innovation and excellence in data center infrastructure.
The Legrand Day 2024 – Data Center Summit served as a pivotal platform for collaboration, driving forward the evolution of data center technology and sustainability in Indonesia and beyond.
The event closed with the handover of the certification of low voltage panels of Legrand Manufactured by Legrand Indonesia. The certificate was given by Edward van Leent, EPI(Enterprise Products Integration Pte Ltd) Chairman & CEO, to Achraf Hegazy, President Director of Legrand Indonesia.
