Pelindo participates at Hannover Messe 2023 in Germany showcasing port digitalization solutions

State-owned port operator company PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) took part in the world’s largest technology industry exhibition, Hannover Messe 2023 in Germany. Through its subsidiary PT Pelindo Solusi Digital, the company exhibits a number of its products to the world.

PT Pelindo Solusi Digital, is a company that focuses on implementing digital ports and logistics solutions. The company does business through B2B, B2G, and G2G schemes.

Hannover Messe is the largest industrial event in Europe which is held at the Hannover Exhibition Center, in Germany attended by 90 participating countries from all over the world. At this annual event, in 2023, Indonesia is trusted as the Official Country Partner.

Natal Iman Ginting, President Director of Pelindo Solusi Digital, said that the company will present Port Digitalization utilizing Single System 4.0 at the event,

“Pelindo Solusi Digital’s participation shows Pelindo’s position in supporting the development of Port Digitalization in Indonesia through several innovative products displayed at the exhibition,” said Ginting on April 21, 2023.

Pelindo Solusi Digital features a number of flagship applications, such as PHINNISI, PTOS-M, and PALAPA as port digital services with neutral, smart, and secure information systems for electronic data/document exchange between logistics businesses at the port. The digital system works under the B2B, B2G, and G2G integration, allowing easy online administration for ships and goods, promoting high effectiveness and efficiency.

“This is in line with the aim of this event, which is to encourage industrial growth based on supply and demand by opening opportunities for access to export markets for Indonesian products, as well as boosting productivity and mastery of new technologies,” said Ginting.

The PHINNISI or Vessel Management System application is an application that accommodates the needs of ship service activities. These services include submitting ship maintenance requests integrated with INAPORTNET; resource planning, and scheduling; implementation of ship maintenance activities; and billing needs, and reporting.

Meanwhile, PALAPA provides solutions to assist terminal operators in managing various types of cargo such as containers, bulk cargo, liquid bulk, and dry bulk. The application covers planning activities, planning for equipment, and allocation of goods stockpiling areas. The application also covers operational activities such as gate transactions to loading/unloading cargo.

Another application promoted by Pelindo Solusi Digital, the PTOS-M, is used to assist terminal operators in managing various general cargo, water bulk, and dry bulk covering planning, operating, monitoring, and reporting phases.

Ginting said Pelindo welcomed its participation in the Hannover Messe 2023 event, which is the largest technology industry exhibition event on a global scale.
