The Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) is auctioning the project for the construction of the police office building and compound at the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) in North Penajam Paser regency, East Kalimantan.

According to information shared on the electronic procurement service (LPSE) website of the PUPR Ministry, the value of the project for the construction of the police office building and area in IKN reaches Rp1.44 trillion (about US$100 million).

The construction is divided into two main scopes of work. These include the construction of the police office building and the arrangement of the police office area. The project is divided into four stages of work, namely the preliminary stage, design stage, construction stage, and maintenance stage.

If there are no changes, the announcement of the auction winner for the project of the police office building and area in IKN will be made on June 7, 2024. Meanwhile, the signing of the contract auction for the police office in IKN will be held on June 14, 2024.

So far, LPSE of the PUPR Ministry has recorded a total of 37 registered tender participants.

The construction of the police office follows the construction of several ministries and agency offices that have been built gradually in IKN. The development of basic infrastructure is aimed to support the planned relocation of the Indonesian capital from Jakarta to Nusantara, located in East Kalimantan.

Currently, several office constructions of ministries and agencies are being carried out in IKN, including four Coordinating Ministries and the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.
