In the meeting Sugiono reiterated Indonesia strong commitment to support the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom.

“I will make sure that the Palestinian issue will always be on the front line of Indonesian diplomacy and we will continue to stand together with the people of Palestine,” Sugiono said in a statement as quoted on Thursday, October 24, 2024.

“Support for Pelastine was also delivered by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in his inauguration speech on October 20, 2024,” he added.
