PT Adhi Karya (ADHI) seeks state capital injection (PMN) amounting to Rp2.1 trillion for the fiscal year 2025 to support the development of two sections of the Trans-Java Toll Road (JTT).

“The capital injection is for the construction of the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road and the Solo-Yogyakarta Toll Road, amounted to Rp2.1 trillion,” Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Erick Thohir said during a hearing with the House of Representatives’ Commission VI on March 20, 2024.

ADHI is one of the winners of the tender for the construction of the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road as stated in the Toll Road Development Agreement (PPJT) Number: 01/PPJ/BPJT/2020. The Yogyakarta – Bawen toll road section has a total length of 75.12 kilometers and will pass through two provinces, Central Java Province covering 66.32 kilometers and Yogyakarta covering 8.80 kilometers.

The Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road consists of six sections: Section 1 of Yogyakarta-Banyurejo spanning 8.8 km, Section 2 of Banyurejo-Borobudur spanning 15.2 km, and Section 3 of Borobudur-Magelang spanning 8.1 km. Then, Section 4 of Magelang-Temanggung spanning 16.6 km, Section 5 of Temanggung-Ambarawa spanning 21.2 km, and Section 6 of Ambarawa-Bawen spanning 5.12 km. Adhi Karya specifically handles the construction process for Package 1 consisting of Sections 1 and 6.

Earlier, Minister of Public Works and Housing Basuki Hadimuljono instructed toll road business entities to formulate acceleration strategies so that the completion of the Yogyakarta-Bawen Toll Road can be expedited. Basuki specifically asked that the Sleman-Banyurejo Section 1 to be completed by the first quarter of 2025, with a physical progress target of 85 percent by the end of this year.

“I request that by the beginning of 2025, 85 percent of physical progress should be achieved, and by early 2025, the Banyurejo section should be completed,” Basuki said.
