Finance Ministry softens stance on Rooftop Solar regulation revision
The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) awaits approval from President Joko Widodo for the revision of Ministerial Regulation No. 26/2021 on the development of rooftop solar power plants (PLTS) at the beginning of this year. The harmonization process of the regulatory revision has been completed after the Ministry of Finance softened its stance on potential subsidy burdens or financial impacts on state-owned electricity company PT PLN due to the relaxation of rooftop solar installations for the general public.
Pertamina International Shipping books revenue of Rp51.56 trillion in 2023
PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS), a subholding of Pertamina engaged in integrated logistics and shipping, reported a revenue of US$3.3 billion, equivalent to Rp51.56 trillion in its unaudited financial performance for 2023. This represents an 18 percent increase compared to the 2022 realization of US$2.8 billion or Rp43.75 trillion. The net profit after tax for 2023 reached US$304 million, marking a 48 percent increase from the previous year's figure of US$205 million.
