PT Rukun Raharja (RAJA) is broadening its presence in downstream oil and gas sector by offering a Booster Compression Plant (BCP) rental service to support the development of Kampung Baru in the Sengkang Block, Wajo regency, South Sulawesi.

This project is being managed by Energy Equity Epic Pty. Ltd. and marks a strategic move in RAJA’s continued growth within the energy sector.

Yuni Pattinasarani, Corporate Secretary of RAJA, highlighted that the collaboration is executed through RAJA’s subsidiary, PT Triguna Internusa Pratama (TIP).

“The expansion of our portfolio in Indonesia’s downstream oil and gas sector will not only boost the company’s revenue and profits, but also create new opportunities for RAJA in areas such as construction, operation, and maintenance of oil and gas infrastructure,” Yuni stated in the company’s official disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

A Booster Compression Plant (BCP) is an industrial facility designed to increase gas pressure from reservoirs, thus improving gas flow rates. It plays a vital role in enhancing production within the natural gas sector.

The agreement between RAJA and Energy Equity Epic Pty. Ltd. was finalized on Friday, October 11, 2024, establishing the provision of the BCP to support the development in the Sengkang Block.

This partnership is anticipated to further solidify RAJA’s standing in the downstream oil and gas industry and contribute to the company’s revenue growth.
