Angola Congo Tanzania leaders seek to meet President Prabowo in Jakarta in 2025

President of Angola João Lourenço, President of Congo Felix Tshisekedi, and President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan have expressed their interests to visit Indonesia and meet President Prabowo Subianto in 2025.

President João plans to visit Indonesia in January 2025, President Felix in February 2025, while Tanzanian Presiden Samia’s scheduled visit has yet to be disclosed.

The request for an audience was announced by President Prabowo himself while addressing the Indonesian Central Bank (BI) Annual Meeting on Friday, November 29, 2024.

In his speech, the president conveyed how important Indonesia is that the country is getting attention from many friendly countries.

Prabowo recently went on an overseas tour to six countries from November 8-23, 2024.

On November 8-10, 2024, he visited China and met with President Xi Jinping. On November 11-12, 2024, Prabowo was on a visit to the U.S. attending President Joe Biden’s invitation.

Meanwhile, on November 14-15, 2024, he attended the ASEAN-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Lima, Peru.

On November 18-19, 2024, he attended the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and flew to England to meet with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and King Charles III.

On Saturday, November 23, 2024, Prabowo visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
