JAKARTA, 14 February 2024 – Election winning team of the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar said they respected the results exposed by the Quick Count recapitulation system, but would await the official results to be announced by the General Elections Commission (KPU) later next month.

Sudirman Said, Executive Co-Captain of the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) National Team, asked all parties, especially volunteers, supporters, and sympathisers of Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) to be patient and remain focused on guarding the votes while waiting for the real count results from the KPU

“We would like to thank the approximately 800,000 witnesses who have worked to guard the votes at each polling stations. Guard the vote until it is complete, guard the polling stations. We respect the temporary results of the quick count, but we also have internal data. From there, we will determine our positio, of course while waiting for the real count results from the General Election Commision,” Sudirman said on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

He considered that it was fine with various quick count data that circulated and put  the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka at the top of provisional standings.

However, Sudirman emphasized that the AMIN national team also has internal data while waiting for the KPU’s real count results.

“Quick count is a method to see the beginning of the winning trend. We are still waiting for the final results in the real count,” he said.

In addition, according to him, the National Legal Team (THN) has and is receiving various reports on indications of fraud from various regions.

“We again appeal to all AMIN supporters to remain patient waiting for the KPU real count results, do not be reactive and do not want to be provoked,

continue to obey all applicable election regulations and procedures,” Sudirman appealed.

The same thing was conveyed by AMIN national team captain M. Syaugi. “So, quick counts are no different from surveys, so we wait for the KPU results, namely the real count. We also have real count data, we cannot rush. Everyone just be patient, the vote count has not been completed.”
