Prabowo discusses human resources, public health and marine conservation with U.S. entrepreneur Bloomberg
President Prabowo Subianto met with American businessman Michael Bloomberg and his delegation at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, discussing efforts to improve the quality of human resources in Indonesia.
The meeting was a follow-up to their meeting in New York on September 22, 2025.
"One of the main focuses of the discussion was improving the quality of Indonesian human resources (HR) through cooperation in education, health, and sanitation," Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said as quoted on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
The meeting also discussed potential collaboration between Bloomberg and the Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara). This collaboration will be directed at supporting programs focused on improving the quality of life for the community.
"In addition to human resource issues, the meeting also discussed opportunities for collaboration between Bloomberg and Danantara, particularly on programs oriented towards improving the quality of life for the community," Teddy said.
Both leaders touched on opportunities for collaboration in the marine conservation sector. This meeting is part of the Indonesian government's ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation to achieve national development goals.
"This meeting reinforces Indonesia's commitment to forging global collaboration to support national development programs, particularly those related to strengthening human resources, public health, and environmental sustainability," he concluded.
