OJK secures arrest of fugitive ex-Investree Director following Interpol Red Notice
The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has arrested fugitive former director of PT Investree Radikajaya, also known as Investree, Adrian Gunadi (AAG).
Adrian had previously been placed under an Interpol red notice, although his name was not listed on Interpol’s public website. A red notice is an international alert issued at the request of a member state to locate and temporarily detain a wanted individual, usually for crimes requiring legal action such as extradition or prosecution.
Brigadier General Untung Widyatmoko, Secretary of NCB Interpol Indonesia, clarified that not all red notices are published on Interpol’s website. Some are restricted and can only be accessed by law enforcement and immigration authorities at border checkpoints.
“So when people ask why Adrian’s name did not appear on the website, it is because not all red notices are displayed publicly. Some are specifically for law enforcement and immigration,” Untung told a press conference at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, on Friday, September 26, 2025.
He emphasized that law enforcement was underway even if the red notice was not visible online. Decisions on whether a fugitive’s name is made public depend on assessments conducted by the Commission for the Control of Interpol’s Files (CCF) and the National Central Bureau (NCB).
Despite not being listed on Interpol’s public site or Indonesia’s wanted list (DPO), Adrian had been declared a fugitive by OJK since late 2024. After extensive coordination, OJK, together with the police, prosecutors, and related ministries, managed to repatriate Adrian from Doha, Qatar, to Indonesia. He arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on Friday, September 26, 2025 and was immediately taken into custody.
Yuliana, OJK’s Deputy Commissioner for Legal Affairs and Investigations, said that Adrian faces charges under Article 46 in conjunction with Article 16 Paragraph 1 of the Banking Law, as well as Article 305 in conjunction with Article 237A of Law No. 4 of 2023 on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (P2SK Law). These charges carry a potential prison sentence of five to 10 years.
“OJK is coordinating with the Attorney General’s Office to pursue charges under multiple provisions of the law,” Yuliana said on Friday.
Adrian is suspected of using PT Radika Persada Utama (RPU) and PT Putra Radika Investama (PRI) to illegally collect public funds under the guise of PT Investree Radikajaya. The funds were allegedly diverted for personal use.
