State telecommunications company, PT Telkom Indonesia, through its carrier services subsidiary Telin, is holding the 10th Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC), drawing hundreds of business leaders from across the globe.

Telin CEO, Budi Satria Dharma Purba, said the forum is more than just a conference − it has become a real platform for business collaboration, attracting nearly 600 companies spanning infrastructure providers, AI players, and data center operators.

“This is not only about discussions, but also about business deals and business matching between companies. Imagine, almost 580 firms are here. The multiplier effect is huge,” Budi told a press conference in Nusa Dua, Bali, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Held under the theme “Igniting Tomorrow’s Digital Evolution”, this year’s BATIC emphasized the role of AI adoption alongside digital connectivity and innovation. The four-day event is set to host 1,500 participants from more than 500 companies across 40 countries, making it one of Southeast Asia’s premier digital forums. The agenda also includes international cooperation agreements aimed at strengthening regional connectivity.

Telkom Indonesia President Director Dian Siswarini praised Telin’s success in positioning BATIC as a global strategic stage.

“Telecommunications and digital industries are undergoing massive transformation, accelerated by AI and cloud technology. This drives demand for new infrastructure and opens opportunities for innovation,” she said.

Dian added that network, platform, and service convergence is reshaping the ecosystem, while data security remains a critical challenge.

Beyond infrastructure, BATIC has evolved into a global platform empowering startups, students, and the public sector. It plays a vital role in advancing inclusive and accessible digital futures, reflecting Telkom Group’s broader vision of becoming a fully digital telco built on limitless opportunities and cross-border collaboration.
