Iwan Kurniawan Lukminto, former President Director of giant textile company Sritex, has been named a suspect by the Attorney General's Office (AGO) in an alleged corruption case involving bank loans to the Surakarta-based textile company.
Nurcahyo Jungkung Madyo, Director of Investigation at the Office of Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, said that investigators have two pieces of evidence to name Iwan as a suspect.
The estimated state financial loss in this case is Rp 1.08 trillion (US$67 million), which is currently being calculated by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).
The AGO has also named 11 other suspects in the Sritex bank loan case. These include:
- Allan Moran Severino (AMS), Sritex's Finance Director from 2006 to 2023;
- Babay Farid Wazadi (BFW) as Director of MSME Credit and concurrently Director of Finance at Bank DKI from 2019 to 2022;
- Pramono Sigit (PS) as Director of Operational Technology at Bank DKI from 2015 to 2021;
- Yuddy Renald (YR) as President Director of Bank BJB from 2019 to March 2025;
- BR as Senior Executive Vice President of Business at Bank BJB from 2019 to 2023;
- Supriyatno (SP) as President Director of Bank Jateng from 2014 to 2023;
- Pujiono (PJ) as Director of Corporate and Commercial Business at Bank Jateng from 2017 to 2020;
- SD, Head of the Business, Corporate, and Commercial Division of Bank Jateng from 2018 to 2020;
- DS (Dicky Syahbandinata), Head of the Corporate and Commercial Division of Bank BJB from 2020;
- Zainuddin Mappa (ZM), President Director of PT Bank DKI from 2020;
- Iwan Setiawan Lukminto (ISL), President Director of PT Sritex from 2005 to 2022.
