The House of Representatives (DPR) has appointed its Commission VI and Commission XI as parliamentary partners for the newly established State investment management agency Daya Anagata Nusantara (BPI Danantara). 

The decision was announced during the 21st Plenary Session of the 2024–2025 Legislative Term held at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

"May I ask the honorable assembly whether the appointment of BPI Danantara as a working partner of Commission VI and Commission XI can be approved?" Deputy House Speaker, Adies Kadir, who chaired the session, said. The proposal was met with approval by the attending members.

According to Adies, this assignment follows a consultative meeting held on Monday, June 30, 2025 involving the House leadership and heads of political party factions.

Commission VI is responsible for overseeing state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and matters related to their operations, while Commission XI handles fiscal affairs, including government mandates and subsidy allocations − both of which are relevant to Danantara’s scope of work and responsibility.

Danantara was launched by President Prabowo Subianto in February 2025, following his signing of several regulatory frameworks on February 24, 2025. The agency’s legal foundation is based on Law No. 1/2025, which amended the existing SOEs Law, while its technical guidelines are outlined in Government Regulation No. 10/2025.

The designation of parliamentary partners marks a critical step in ensuring legislative oversight and coordination for Danantara’s role in managing strategic national investments and government-assigned projects.
