Investigators of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) searched the house of former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil (RK) in Bandung, West Java, on Monday, March 10, 2025.
KPK chairman Setyo Budiyanto said the search was related to the corruption case of the West Java and Banten Regional Development Bank (Bank BJB).
Previously, the KPK revealed the corruption case related to the advertising procurement project at Bank BJB, which was estimated to have caused hundreds of billions of rupiah in State losses. So far, a total of five people have been named as suspects in this case.
KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika said the anticorruption agency would inform the investigation results once the search is completed.
"It is true that today there is a search by investigators in the BJB corruption case. However, the official investigation results, including the location, will only be announced when all activities are complete," Tessa said on Monday, March 10, 2025.
The KPK has previously revealed the investigation warrant (sprindik) issued for the alleged corruption case involving the use of advertising funds at Bank BJB.
"We have issued a letter for investigation of the case," Setyo Budiyanto said as quoted by Antara, on March 5, 2025.
Setyo said that the KPK, through the Director of Investigation and the Head of the Task Force, will coordinate if there are other law enforcement institutions that have handled this case.
