BRI Danareksa Sekuritas (BRIDS) targets four companies to list their shares through an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2025.
Laksono Widodo, President Director of BRI Danareksa, said BRIDS will continue to strengthen its position as a trusted partner in the capital market.
The company is committed not only to facilitate funding for corporations, but also encourage the growth of a more solid and sustainable capital market ecosystem, thus contributing positively to the national economy.
"We are targeting to support four stock IPOs and dozens of bond and sukuk underwriting in 2025 with a more targeted and innovative strategy," Laksono said on Friday, February 14, 2025.
Throughout 2024, the number of BRIDS clients in debt issuance transactions increased by 44 percent to 36 clients compared to 25 clients in 2023.
In addition, the number of client transactions for debt issuance handled shot up to 86 percent to 53 transactions from the previous 38 transactions in 2023.
The total value of BRIDS bond and sukuk underwriting also jumped to Rp14.6 trillion (US$900.4 million) in 2024. This figure grew 47 percent compared to Rp9.9 trillion in 2023.
Laksono added that this achievement was supported by the solid performance of the bond brokerage business in the secondary market.
BRIDS recorded the largest Government Bond Brokerage trading transaction value among securities companies, reaching Rp275 trillion (US$16.96 billion) in 2024. BRIDS recorded the highest transaction value of Rp49 trillion.
