The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) has announced that several companies are preparing to conduct initial public offerings (IPOs), including eight companies which are classified to have assets exceeding Rp250 billion (US$15.6 million), indicating strong confidence in the Indonesian capital market.
“Based on Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) No. 53/POJK.04/2017, there are eight large companies with assets over Rp250 billion that are set to go public,” Director of Company Assessment at BEI, I Gede Nyoman Yetna, said on Monday, May 20, 2024.
In addition, there are 24 companies with medium-sized assets ranging from Rp50 billion to Rp250 billion, and six companies with small assets below Rp50 billion, also planning to go public.

- Consumer Cyclicals: 6 companies
- Consumer Non-Cyclicals: 8 companies
- Energy: 2 companies
- Financials: 0 companies
- Healthcare: 3 companies
- Industrials: 7 companies
- Infrastructure: 1 company
- Property and Real Estate: 4 companies
- Technology: 4 companies
- Transportation and Logistics: 1 company
The majority of the companies set to list are from the consumer non-cyclical sector. However, as of the end of May, no companies from the energy, financial, healthcare, property, or transportation sectors are scheduled to go public next month.
According to data from the e-IPO.co.id platform, one company from the basic materials sector is slated to list on the Exchange in June.
As of May 17, 2024, a total of 24 companies have successfully listed their shares on the Exchange. These IPOs have collectively raised Rp3.88 trillion, highlighting the strong appeal of the Indonesian capital market across various industry sectors.
