The Indonesian Air Force Staff and Command School (Seskoau) held a seminar on the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in defense sector for the 61st batch of Student Officers at the Graha Widya Dirgantara Building in Bandung on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
Seskoau Commander, Air Marshal I Made Susila Adnyana, said in his remarks that a deep understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) technology is an important step for the Indonesian Air Force in increasing its modern warfare competitiveness.
"This seminar is a scientific means for Seskoau student officers to contribute ideas for the implementation of AI-based military technology that is not only useful for the Indonesian Air Force, but also for the country’s defense sector as a whole," Susila Adnyana said.
The Seskoau Commander emphasized that readiness in responding to the development of modern technology, especially AI, is a must for prospective Indonesian Air Force leaders.
He expressed hope that the knowledge gained from the seminar could be translated into a scientific manuscript that has strategic value and becomes a useful reference for the interests of the Indonesian Air Force and the nation.
