President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated the leadership structure of Indonesia’s newly established State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN) in a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
Former Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Dony Oskaria has been appointed as Head of BP BUMN, while Aminuddin Ma’ruf and Tedi Bharata will serve as Deputy Heads. Aminuddin previously served as Deputy Minister of SOEs, and Tedi was Deputy for Human Resources at the Ministry of SOEs.
The inauguration began with the national anthem Indonesia Raya, followed by the recitation of the oath of office. “I will uphold the ethics of my position and carry out my duties with full responsibility,” Dony said as he repeated the oath read by President Prabowo.
Ahead of his inauguration, Dony expressed his commitment to continue the transformation of Indonesia’s state-owned enterprises under the new regulatory framework. “With the new law, we will further strengthen the transformation process envisioned by the President,” he said.
Prior to this appointment, President Prabowo had named Dony as Acting Minister of SOEs, following a cabinet reshuffle that moved Erick Thohir to the post of Minister of Youth and Sports.
Dony also currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Indonesia Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara), which was established earlier in February 2025.
