Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, has confirmed that the government will provide funding for two newly established institutions endorsed by President Prabowo Subianto − the Mineral Industry Agency and the Northern Java Coastal Region (Pantura) Sea Wall Authority.

“Yes, if a new agency is formed, its budget will be provided later,” Sri Mulyani said after attending the inauguration ceremony of two new high-ranking government officials at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday, August 25, 2025.

She added that operational budgets would be disbursed once the two institutions are fully established. However, she declined to elaborate on the specific funding sources.

“Once they are formed, of course there will be follow-up measures,” she said.

On the same occasion, President Prabowo appointed two officials to lead the new agencies. Deputy Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Didit Herdiawan Ashaf, was inaugurated as Head of the Pantura Sea Wall Authority under Presidential Decree No. 76 P/2025.

Meanwhile, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto was sworn in as Head of the Mineral Industry Agency. The inauguration ceremony took place at the Merdeka Palace on Monday, August 25, 2025.
