State energy company PT Pertamina announced a reshuffle in its board of directors and board of commissioners during a General Shareholders Meeting (RUPS) in Jakarta on Thursday, June 12, 2025, a measure that reflects strategic consolidation as the company transitions into the government-initiated energy holding, Danantara.

The meeting confirmed the retention of key leadership while also ushering in new figures from within Pertamina and its subsidiaries. This move is seen as part of a broader corporate transformation to strengthen governance and prepare for Indonesia’s energy transition.

Simon Aloysius Mantiri remains at the helm as President Director, reinforcing continuity amid sectoral shifts. His leadership is expected to steer Pertamina through both the Danantara integration and the national energy transition roadmap.

One of the most notable changes was the appointment of Oki Muraza as Deputy President Director, replacing Wiko Migantoro. Formerly serving as the Senior Vice President of Research & Technology Innovation at Pertamina Holding, Oki’s elevation marks a generational shift and underlines the company’s intent to promote internal talent with a strong technological vision.

Board of Directors:

  • President Director: Simon Aloysius Mantiri
  • Deputy President Director: Oki Muraza
  • Director of Risk Management: Ahmad Siddik Badruddin
  • Director of Strategy, Portfolio, and Business Development: A. Salyadi Dariah Saputra
  • Director of Logistics and Infrastructure: Jaffee Arizon Suardin
  • Director of Finance: Emma Sri Martini
  • Director of Business Support: Erry Sugiharto
  • Director of Transformation and Business Sustainability: Agung Wicaksono
  • Director of Human Capital: Andy Arvianto

Speculation surrounding a reshuffle of Finance Director Emma Sri Martini was put to rest as she retained her post. Meanwhile, Andy Arvianto, formerly with subsidiary Peteka, was appointed Director of Human Capital, with Erry Sugiharto moving to oversee Business Support.

New Commissioner

The restructuring extended to Pertamina’s board of commissioners. Mochammad Iriawan, a familiar name in government oversight roles, was reappointed as President Commissioner. Todotua Pasaribu joined him as Deputy Commissioner, bringing in renewed oversight capacity to support the company’s evolving direction.

Board of Commissioners:

  • President Commissioner: Mochammad Iriawan
  • Deputy Commissioner: Todotua Pasaribu
  • Independent Commissioner: Raden Ajeng Sondaryani
  • Independent Commissioner: Nanik S. Deyang
  • Independent Commissioner: Condro Kirono
  • Commissioner: Bambang Suswantono
  • Commissioner: Heru Pambudi

Danantara transition

This leadership refresh comes at the heels of a previously postponed RUPS, delayed due to the formation of Danantara, a new umbrella entity aimed at consolidating state energy companies. The revised structure is designed to enhance Pertamina’s responsiveness to energy challenges, governance standards, and the accelerating global shift toward sustainable energy.

According to internal sources, the reshuffle is not merely a bureaucratic realignment but part of a long-term strategic repositioning. As Indonesia embraces renewable energy and strengthens its domestic supply chain, Pertamina’s new leadership is expected to play a pivotal role.
