Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Application (Komdigi) Nezar Patria, has been appointed President Commissioner of PT Indosat following the company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2024 fiscal year, held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. 

In addition to Nezar’s appointment, Syed Bilal Kazmi was named as a new director, replacing Ritesh Kumar Singh, who officially submitted his resignation effective July 31, 2025. Ritesh, an Indian national, had served as Indosat’s Chief Commercial Officer since 2019.

The AGMS approved a dividend distribution of Rp2.7 trillion, equivalent to Rp83.3 per share, underscoring the telecom giant’s financial health and shareholder-focused strategy.

“As we transform into an AI-TechCo, this dividend payout is a tangible sign of our strong financial position and our long-term commitment to delivering sustainable value to shareholders,” Vikram Sinha, President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, said.

The company also revealed a long-term dividend policy, targeting up to 70 percent of net profit to be distributed by 2026, while continuing investments in artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.

The AGMS ratified the composition of the board of directors for the term beginning August 1, 2025, until the conclusion of the 2027 shareholders meeting, without limiting the right of shareholders to terminate appointments at any time.
