MEGABUILD Indonesia 2025 has officially opened its doors at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), presenting a wide range of innovative solutions for building smarter, more comfortable, and environmentally sustainable homes. MEGABUILD Indonesia 2025 runs until April 27 at JICC, Halls A and B.

The event was inaugurated by Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar, who expressed appreciation for MEGABUILD’s ongoing role in inspiring Indonesians to embrace a more sustainable lifestyle. She emphasized the importance of creativity and design in shaping a greener future.

A standout feature of this year’s exhibition is the Green Haven installation — a life-sized mock-up of a home where visitors can walk through living spaces such as the living room, bathroom, and bedroom, experiencing firsthand how design and technology integrate to support sustainable living.

With a serene, nature-inspired ambiance, the installation uses natural and eco-friendly materials like Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) and modular design approaches. The result is an efficient, aesthetic layout that demonstrates how eco-conscious architecture doesn’t have to compromise on comfort or style.

“We want to show that building a comfortable yet eco-friendly home isn’t out of reach,” said Dr. Sidhi Wiguna Teh, architect and curator of MEGABUILD 2025. “Green Haven helps people visualize how sustainability can be seamlessly incorporated into modern living.”

The immersive experience at MEGABUILD brings sustainability issues to life. From exploring smart home technologies and energy-efficient designs to learning about sustainable building materials, visitors are encouraged to imagine applying these innovations in their own homes.

This aligns with MEGABUILD’s broader message through the #IndonesiaEcoCon campaign — that sustainable living starts with simple, practical steps at home. The initiative also supports the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 2030).

As Indonesia’s most comprehensive building and architecture expo, MEGABUILD acts as a one-stop destination for homeowners, designers, and builders seeking green design inspiration, renovation ideas, or new home concepts.

Hundreds of leading local and international brands, including Germany Brilliant, Bardi, Inti Solar, Enviro, Penguin, WD40, and many more, are showcasing technologies focused on energy efficiency, smart home integration, and eco-friendly materials.

“We want visitors to leave with real experiences, not just brochures,” said Royanto Handaya, President Director of PT Panorama Media. “MEGABUILD is where the future of home living — smart, sustainable, and beautiful — can be seen, touched, and felt.”

Beyond exhibits, the event also offers a rich lineup of educational programs, including podcasts with strategic partner Mitra Pabrik, creative seminars, and panel discussions with industry experts.
