Erajaya sets up new board of commissioners, directors

Retail company, PT Erajaya Swasembada (ERAA) held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, securing approval from the shareholders for all proposed agendas, including changes to the composition of the Board of Commissioners and Directors. 

Erajaya President Director, Budiarto Halim, said that with the new structure in management, the company is increasingly ready to accelerate innovation, strengthen competitiveness in the market and ensure that Erajaya remains a key partner for customers and other stakeholders amidst the dynamics of the ever-evolving industry. 

Erajaya’s EGMS decided on changes in the company's leadership composition, including the appointment of Alexander Halim Kusuma as President Commissioner and Patrick Adhiatmadja as Director. The following is the latest composition of Erajaya's Board of Commissioners and Directors. 

 

Strategy and expansion 

 As the new President Commissioner, Alexander Halim Kusuma brings experience in various strategic projects, including the development of shopping areas, hotels, and cinema chains. He emphasized that Erajaya has great potential to grow and innovate.

"In the third quarter of 2024, the company recorded a 69.82 percent year-on-year increase in net profit. In 2025, Erajaya has secured a number of new strategic partnerships in Erajaya Digital, Erajaya Active Lifestyle, and various other business lines," Alexander said. 

He is optimistic that Erajaya can become the largest lifestyle smart retailer leader in Indonesia. 

As part of its business expansion, Erajaya Active Lifestyle announced the official launch of XPENG in Indonesia on February 28, 2025. With this, Erajaya becomes the brand holder agent (APM) of XPENG, apremium electric vehicle brand. 

In addition, on February 13, 2025, PT Era Boga Nusantara (EBN), a subsidiary of Erajaya, inaugurated PT Chagee Era Indonesia, a joint venture with Singapore-based Tea Explorer Pte. Ltd., to develop Chagee's F&B business in Indonesia. 

Meanwhile, Patrick Adhiatmadja, who was appointed as the new Director, has extensive experience in various sectors, including automotive, energy, and manufacturing. He assessed that the industrial transformation opens up great opportunities for Erajaya to continue to grow.

"With the right strategy, Erajaya can present innovations that are relevant to the market and have a real impact on consumers and the industry as a whole," Patrick said. 

With leadership restructuring and business expansion into various sectors, Erajaya shows its commitment to continue to grow as a major player in the retail, technology, automotive, and food and beverage industries in Indonesia.
