Prabowo gathers conglomerates to boost investment, national development

President Prabowo Subianto summoned a number of conglomerates to the Presidential Palace in Jakarta for a meeting on Friday, March 7, 2025, discussing investment potential with entrepreneurs to government programs.
The meeting is a continuation after Prabowo’s previous meeting with eight conglomerates at the Palace a day earlier.
One of those present was Sugianto Kusuma (Aguan), boss of property developer Agung Sedayu Group, told the media that he was called by Prabowo to receive State guests.
Aguan confirmed there would be investment from entrepreneurs, but denied any connection with the National Strategic Projects (PSN). Details of the projects that will be invested are not yet known.
On the same occasion, the owner of the mining company Adaro, Garibaldi “Boy” Thohir said he was invited by Prabowo to provide input and be involved in building the country. According to him, this is a good request because if not them, who else.
"We are asked by all, all parties, be they entrepreneurs, be they middle class people, be they individuals, everyone, that we work together to build the country," Boy said.
The following is the list of conglomerates invited to the State Palace: Owner of CT Corp Chairul Tanjung; Owner of Mayapada Group Dato Sri Tahir; Owner of Artha Graha Group Tomy Winata, Owner of Agung Sedayu Group Sugianto Kusuma (Aguan), Owner of Jhonlin Group Andi Syamsuddin Arsyad or Haji Isam; Owner of Salim Group Anthony Salim; Owner of Sinar Mas Group Franky Oesman Widjaja; Owner of Adaro Garibaldi “Boy” Thohir; Owner of Barito Group Prajogo Pangestu; Head of Lippo Group James Riady and Head of Medco Group Hilmi Panigoro.
