Riva Siahaan, President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, explained that Pertamina Patra Niaga's support for international racing events aimed to demonstrate the quality of Pertamina fuel that meets world-class racing standards. A total of 30,000 liters of Pertamax Turbo were distributed to the Balige area for use by the powerboat racers.

“This serves as evidence that Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina's RON 98 segment product, meets the specifications for races while remaining environmentally friendly. So, besides the success of the racing event, we also maintain environmental quality in Lake Toba," Riva said.

In addition to ensuring fuel for the racers, Riva added that Pertamina Patra Niaga also provided 8,000 liters of Pertamax and 100 liters of Pertamina Dex to support the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) in securing the F1 Power Boat event.

Furthermore, Pertamina Patra Niaga also supplied more than 9,000 liters of Avtur for helicopters tasked with covering the event. For the daily fuel and LPG needs in the Balige area, as well as Avtur at Silangit Airport as an access point to Toba, Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to maintain stock and distribution.

Riva said the supply of fuel, LPG, and Avtur products was sufficient to meet the energy needs of the community, while all supply points in the Northern Sumatra region were prepared to support distribution efforts to Balige.

Riva appreciated the coordination that has been carried out well in advance with various stakeholders such as the Central Government, Regional administrations, the North Sumatra Provincial Police, and all other agencies that have supported Pertamina Patra Niaga's efforts to meet energy needs during the race.
