In the development of this IKN Access Toll Road project, WIKA is part of a joint operation cooperation (KSO) with PT Waskita Karya (WSKT), PT Jaya Konstruksi Manggala Pratama (JKON), and PT Pembangunan Perumahan (PTPP).

WIKA President Director, Agung Budi Waskito, said that the construction for the IKN Toll Road Section 3B-2 Segment Kariangau KKT - Sp. Tempadung is targeted to continue until June 2025. WIKA management is optimistic that the project development in IKN can proceed at the same pace, ensuring timely completion with good quality.

Agung also mentioned that the new contract acquisition for the IKN Toll Road Project Section 3B-2 Segment Kariangau KKT - Sp. Tempadung demonstrates the continued trust and support from stakeholders.

"The support of the bank guarantee ceiling, as outlined in the Master Restructuring Agreement (MRA) between WIKA and financial institutions, has opened up broader opportunities for the company to pursue new contract acquisitions in 2024," Agung said in a statement, quoted on Sunday, February 11, 2024.

The IKN Toll Road Project Section 3B-2 Segment Kariangau KKT-Sp. Tempadung is part of the mainroad toll segment 3B, spanning 7.3 kilometers, which will connect the mainroad of the IKN Toll Road Section 3B with Kariangau Road. This Toll Road package aims to support and improve connectivity in East Kalimantan, particularly to and from the Capital City of Nusantara area. The Toll Road will also include two wildlife-specific bridges in the area.

Previously, throughout 2023, the government through the State Asset Management Agency (LMAN) had conducted land acquisition for three segments of the IKN Access Toll Road, namely Section 3A Toll Road Segment Karangjoang - Kariangau KKT, Section 3B Toll Road Segment Kariangau KKT - Sp. Tempadung, and Section 5A Toll Road Segment Sp. Tempadung - Pulau Balang Bridge. The breakdown of land acquisition realization for Section 3A Toll Road amounted to Rp881.06 billion out of a total allocation of Rp1.29 trillion. Meanwhile, Section 3B had absorbed a budget of Rp85.17 billion out of a total allocation of Rp165.48 billion, and Section 5A amounted to Rp16.93 billion out of Rp65.92 billion.
