As many as 70 companies have registered in the Net Zero Hub program initiated by the Indonesian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (KADIN).
One of KADIN's partners in the Net Zero Hub program, World Resource Institute (WRI) Indonesia, confirmed that the program will continue despite the recent arrest of Muhammad Yusrizki, one of KADIN officials who is the chief of the program.
Teaching companies to calculate emission
Country Director of WRI Nirarta Samadhi, said that out of the 70 companies that have registered for the program, 40 of the companies will be taking on the GHG accounting bootcamp program to learn how to calculate their emission. Meanwhile, the remaining 30 companies will be taking part in the Corporate Assistance Program (CAP).
Nirarta explained that the CAP is a program that provides intensive technical mentoring for 5 (five) consecutive months. The program is intended to help companies to inventorize and calculate their greenhouse gas emission scope 1, 2, and 3, and to make net zero commitment.

KADIN's Net Zero Hub is an ecosystem enabler for companies wanting to transition to become a Net Zero Company.
The Net Zero Hub initiative is a collaboration between KADIN with Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD), WRI Indonesia, and Carbon Disclosure Project, which provides mentoring to companies in their green-transition effort.
