Telkomsel, Mcash, and Chinese technology giant Tencent are developing AI technology to support Telkomsel’s B2B activities in Indonesia.

The technology will be used to support Telkomsel’s internal activities, as well as Business to Customer or B2C and Business to Business alias B2B customer services.

The three companies agreed to implement an integrated strategic partnership, especially in the development of communication technology and AI solutions.

The goal is to increase operational efficiency and provide a better, safer, and more innovative service experience.

Martin Suharlie, President Director of PT M Cash Integrasi, said that Tencent’s technology can support Telkomsel’s operations to enter a new level in serving the Indonesian people.

The solutions and technologies in question are palm verification also known as Palm Verification Technology, consumer recognition or eKYC, Digital Human, and AI content.

The implementation of Palm Verification Technology in the work environment and customer service will facilitate Telkomsel’s product and service transactions while creating higher security standards.

In addition, AI technology will play a role in optimizing services and offers for customers while opening up new business growth opportunities for Telkomsel.

“By integrating the latest technology with Tencent, we hope to redefine market standards and drive a more inclusive digital transformation,” Telkomsel President Director Nugroho said on Monday, December 23, 2024.
