Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman Abdurrahman has set the sales transaction target of Rp100 billion (US$6.3 million) during the Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT) 2025 exhibition which will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on February 5-9, 2025.
“The target for transaction sales is approximately Rp 100 billion,” Maman said in his address on the opening the INACRAFT 2025 exhibition on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
In addition to domestic transactions, this event also targets international trade contracts worth US$1.5 million.
Dubbed as the largest handicraft exhibition in Southeast Asia, INACRAFT 2025 is a forum for micro, small, and medium enterprises to market their craft products, both for domestic and international markets. It involves around 1,100 MSMEs from various regions in Indonesia.
Maman expressed hope that this number will continue to grow, considering that this exhibition will not only have an impact on increasing sales, but also open up new jobs in the creative economy sector.
“The most important thing is to open up jobs in all sectors involved in this INACRAFT event,” he said.
He further emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting MSMEs, both in terms of financing, marketing, and training to increase product capacity, in line with President Prabowo Subianto administration’s economic growth target of 8 percent.
“Hopefully, with a forum like INACRAFT, it can help drive our economic achievement targets,” Maman concluded.
