Xurya, a company offering a no upfront-cost solar power plant (PLTS) leasing scheme, announced that it has completed nearly 200 solar power projects with a total capacity exceeding 100 megawatts (MW).

Around 100 companies have adopted Xurya’s services to begin utilizing solar energy.

Eka Himawan, Managing Director of Xurya, emphasized that this achievement is not just about capacity but symbolizes change.

“Every MW installed is very meaningful. It’s solid proof that Indonesia is moving in the right direction, toward a sustainable future,” he said in a statement as quoted on on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Eka highlighted Xurya's commitment to supporting the government's energy transition efforts and contributing to the country’s 2030 energy mix target of 25 percent.

As a pioneer in innovative business models, Xurya also leads in using Internet of Things (IoT) technology for remote monitoring and management of PLTS, as well as applying machine learning to optimize system performance.

“These innovations not only boost energy efficiency but also ensure improved reliability and safety for PLTS users,” Eka said.

He noted that collaboration has been key to the company's success. Xurya has efficiently executed its projects in a timely manner by partnering with over 150 local EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) firms.

As part of its strategic growth, Xurya is committed to empowering local human resources and building an ecosystem that supports the national energy transition.

Over the past few years, the company has partnered with communities, educational institutions, and private entities to provide technical training.

Xurya has also been one of the pioneers of the Solar Academy Indonesia, alongside Huawei Indonesia and JJ-Lapp Indonesia.

“All of Xurya's achievements have been made possible through the support of 100 percent local employees, numbering more than 100 people, spread across four major cities: Jakarta, Medan, Semarang, and Surabaya,” Eka concluded.
