OIKN unveils key projects under Phase 5 construction

The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) has revealed that a number of projects will soon be built under Phase 5 of the IKN groundbreaking momentum in February 2024.

Head of OIKN, Bambang Susantono, said that a number of banking industries are among those that will start investing in the Phase 5 groundbreaking process.

"There are several investors, we will disclose them in due time. There are some from the banking sector and there might others from the logistics side," Bambang told the media on the closing day of the Nusantara Capital Fair 2024 in Jakarta on Sunday, January 28, 2024.

In addition to banking projects, Bambang also said that the groundbreaking of the IKN investment project in February 2024 would also be followed by the construction of residential projects including meeting halls or convention centers.

However, Bambang did not mention in detail the investors who would take part in the phase 5 groundbreaking process, while citing that the total amount of investment is still being calculated.

"We are still calculating the amount and will convey it to the public once completed. In the mean time, we are still waiting for the schedule of President {Joko Widodo} so that he himself will lead this groundbreaking event," he concluded.
