Jakarta, June 1, 2024 − State electricity company PT PLN signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia to provide official transportation within the PLN Group.
The MoU was signed by Executive Vice President for General and Property Assets of PLN, Arsyadany Ghana Akmalaputri, and GoTo's Chief for Public Policy and Government Relations, Ade Mulya, in Jakarta on May 30, 2024.
PLN Director of Legal and Human Capital Management, Yusuf Didi Setiarto, said the cooperation with GoTo is meant to increase the effectiveness of the company's business, especially the provision of online transportation for official needs in the PLN Group.
“GoTo is a pioneer in the nation's online transportation service company. We are adopting the best experience that will help lead towards good governance efficiently and effectively,” Didi said.
Arsyadany said the collaboration with GoTo is an effort by PLN Group to transform into a world class company in the midst of global challenges and the era of disruption.
“PLN employees are used to using Gojek services for their daily activities to the office and at home. Therefore, the level of familiarity is important in choosing GoCorp to complement the existing expense management system to be more efficient. GoCorp services also help PLN Group in monitoring and evaluating the operational activities of employees because it uses an integrated digital system and is more efficient because it reduces the cost of renting official vehicles,” he said.
GoTo's Chief for Public Policy and Government Relations, Ade Mulya, appreciated PLN Group for the cooperation. He hopes that this collaboration can help realize the digital transformation mission and increase the productivity of PLN employees in providing maximum service to the community.
“We appreciate the trust of PLN Group to continue to innovate together in serving the community. GoCorp services are specifically designed to meet corporate needs for various challenges in the business expense management process,” Ade said.
With GoCorp's end-to-end automated technology system, Ade is optimistic that it will not only be able to provide the vehicles needed by PLN Group at any time, but also be able to assist companies in time, cost efficiency while increasing the visibility and transparency of PLN Group's expenses.
Ade added, in addition to providing benefits for the company, GoCorp services also provide benefits for employees to avoid the manual process for reimbursement, which is time-consuming and risks reducing productivity at work. With a system based on the Gojek application, the GoCorp service is very easy to adopt by all levels of employees in the PLN Group.
