One of the largest companies in Indonesia's telecommunications sector, PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT), is aiming at expanding its business practices in an effort to support the company's core services. The company is currently attempting to penetrate the electrical, construction, digital technology equipment rental, and office machine sectors to provide added value to its data center business.

"In order to improve the company's performance going forward, the company plans to add business activities, which include electrical, construction, leasing digital technology equipment, and office machines," said a member of Indosat's management team in an information disclosure, on April 3, 2023.

The addition of these new business activities is also hoped to increase the company's revenue stream, which will affect the company's long-term growth.

"Based on the financial projections analyzed, changes in business activities will increase revenue for the company with a percentage of the company's revenue in 2022 of 0.12%, and during the projection period [2023-2027] of 1.08%, closed ISAT management.
