Pramono Anung sets up transition team ahead of inauguration in February

Pramono Anung, the elected Governor of Jakarta, has set up a transition team that will prepare power transfer to the new governorship before his inauguration in early February 2025.

The 14-member transition team includes individuals and professionals who had been supporting Pramono Anung-Rano Karno since their campaigning for the Jakarta governorship.

“So that when Bang Doel and I are inaugurated, we can get straight to work,” Pramono said  as quoted by Antara, on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

The team will be chaired by Ima Mahdiah, a politician from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), who is a member of the Jakarta Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD).

Other names include Chico Hakim, PDI-P Spokesperson as Communication Coordinator; Yunarto Wijaya, Executive Director of Charta Politika as Information Technology Team; and Yustinus Prastowo, former Special Staff of the Minister of Finance for Strategic Communication.

Then, Nirwono Joga, an urban planning observer from Trisakti University, as a member of the Public Policy Team; Charles Honoris, a PDI-P politician in the Health Policy Team; John Odius in the Infrastructure Technical Team, who previously served as a member of the Anies-Muhaimin campaign team in the 2024 Presidential Election.
