IDX removes ACES and PGEO, adds XL Axiata and Indosat in latest index overhaul

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has announced that it removed shares of PT Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia (ACES) and PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGEO) from the IDX30 index and brought shares of PT XL Axiata (EXCL) and PT Indosat (ISAT) into the index as  replacement.

IDX30 is an index on the Indonesian Stock Exchange that measures the price performance of 30 stocks that have high liquidity and large market capitalization and are supported by good company fundamentals.

According to IDX trading data, XL Axiata’s current stock capitalization is Rp29.93 trillion (US$1.8 billion) with its stock price of Rp2,280 per share. Then Indosat’s capitalization reaches Rp74.18 trillion with its current stock price of Rp2,300 per share.

Meanwhile, the capitalization value of Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia (ACES) shares is currently recorded at Rp13.29 trillion with a share price of Rp775 per share. Then PGEO has 43.9 trillion with a share price of Rp1,060 per share.

“The effective period for constituents and the number of shares in the index calculation is February 3, 2025 to April 30, 2025,” wrote the BEI announcement, on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

This overhaul is a major evaluation and will be re-evaluated according to the specified time period.
